Iran's ‘Empty View’ wins US fest Best Animation award

Iranian animation ‘Empty View’ has succeeded to win Best Animation award from the December edition of the Los Angeles Film Awards in the US.

Directed by Ali Zare-Qanatnowi, the animation was designed and produced during in years. It combines the 2D and 3D animation techniques for the first time in Iranian cinema on such scale.

‘Empty View’ depicts an Iranian old woman awaiting the return of her missing son from the battle ground of a war.

The Los Angeles Film Awards is an online film event which is held every month. The organizers of the monthly contest select the winners. All the winners receive official certificate and are permitted to participate in the main competition section which is held once a year.
